mini mahal miniature horses

magnificence in miniature

The mini mahal got it's name from the first barn we ever built for the miniature horses when we began this incredible journey in 1999. The horses each had chandeliers over their stalls, mirrors to admire themselves in, hand made decorative iron stall doors, a stereo and a disco ball. Everyone who came to visit the minis would remark, "Wow! This is like the Taj Mahal!" So, that's how we became known as  the "mini mahal". In 2002  have moved from Southampton, New York to Prior Lake, Minnesota because we can't ever get enough cold weather or lefse*. We are located 45 minutes south of the twin cities. In our Minnesota location there are no more mirrors or chandeliers, but they still have their beautiful iron stall gates, music and of course, the disco ball!

Our miniature miniature farm,  shows  AMHA & AMHR After only 6 years of showing our  show horses we have earned 9 national & world championships,  countless national & world top ten placements , several top tens at AMHA Central regional shows, Multiple Grand and Reserve Championships at the AMHR Area IV show, 3 AMHR Hall of Fame recipients ,  Honor Roll and All Star status in both miniature registries.

Our Champion minis share the "mini mahal" with the 5 hens of "Cluckingham Palace" whose coup sports the only chandelier in the new mini mahal, and the barn cats. The farm was recently featured  in Country Living Magazine.
